John Morgan joined the ChemRite team on September 11, 2009 in the position of Inventory Management/Compliance Specialist. John brings with him more then 25 years experience in various supply chain management functions. He is skilled in the management of 3rd party logistics operations and has vast experience with wireless barcode scanning technology. He has also implemented SAP into the distribution networks for Brach’s Candy and Keebler companies.
John’s experience and focus on inventory accuracy corresponds with ChemRite’s concentration on improved inventory management. His experience has shown that inventory accuracy can be achieved by consistently verifying inventory through proper receiving, cycle counts, lot control and various other inventory management techniques. His objective here at ChemRite is to integrate a W.M.S. (Warehouse Management System) that will conform with ChemRite’s current operating system, ChemPax VB. He will be working with ChemRite’s Warehouse Manager, Greg Wolken, to reconfigure the facilities’ racking and inventory storage to maximize space in our warehouse facilities, as well as provide improved organization and production staging. Each improvement will be implemented with the end purpose of providing online inventory visibility and tracking to our customers.
